This programme of short workshops is helpful for ANYONE who wants to learn how to calm stress, relieve feelings of anxiety, fear, anger and live life with greater ease and joy.
Originally Developed to support survivors of war and genocide and help them move forward in their lives, the programme brings together the best of cutting edge self-help techniques that, when used regularly, may enable you to think more clearly, relax, feel more confident, laugh more and even manage physical discomfort better.
Already shared with over 200 people in Bosnia and more than 20 Syrian ladies who have settled in the UK. I’ve also provided introductory from Stress to Strength workshops with unpaid carers groups throughout Shropshire. It has been moving, fun and an immense privilege. Particularly heartwarming is how everyone taking part has shared what they learned with family, friends and neighbours. One lovely lady even taught all of the children in her classs at school.
All the wonderful participants have been my teachers too and everything learned from them has helped in developing the programme further so it is easily adapted to meet the needs of each group, and individuals within it.

Nidaa also shared all she had learned with family who were still living in Syria. How lovely that she was able to help her sister and family feel less afraid at the sound of bombing. Imagine what effect using the techniques may hold for us here in the UK.
